S.O.Z! Save our Zip Wire!

As you most probably know, our popular zip wire has been disabled, following a RoSPA report. We need to replace the existing wooden frame before the zip wire can be restored to working order.

This will most probably cost in the region of £10,000, if not more. CAN YOU HELP?

We need all the help we can get from our supporters, so we have set up a JustGiving page. If you would like to donate, please visit

Without your support, Cotton End Park will not flourish and continue to provide a haven for families and wildlife.

Cotton End Park is Open

Week beginning 18 May 2020: In line with recent revised government guidelines, Cotton End Park is now open to cars and small groups, though the play equipment and zip wire are still out of bounds. We will review the situation on a week-by-week basis.

Unfortunately, the zip wires will remain closed until further notice as we need to replace the faulty timber to make them safe.

Cotton End Park is now open but please observe current guidelines on social distancing
